The last part of our overland trip: from Maun to Chobe national park and then the end at Victoria Falls. In Botswana they had some serious electricity problems, thunderstorms killed part of the network, our guide had to search for a lodge with water and diesel energy supply. We visited Chobe National Park, first a game drive and then a boat trip in the afternoon on the Chobe River.
Finally some elephants, crocodiles and hyppos.
Next day then short trip to Zimbabwe, but a 2 hour wait at the border. We visited Vic Falls national park, but there is so much water in the Zambezi river, you couldn’t see much. So we decided to take a helicopter trip in the afternoon.
So the trip ends with a large goodbye party in the evening, we fly the next dayfor another week to South Africa, Port Elizabeth.
